My bike hasnt been lowered at all in the rear, leaving the swingarm in parallel with the frame when I sit on it. The fender was reformed, cut and reshaped to hug and form to the rim and tire while still giving full suspension travel. I can be done with stock fenders as well and looks alot better. DOesnt really cost a dime, but it does take some time and effort. But the end result is well worth it.
I have contemplated this exact idea, never heard of anybody actually doing it yet. Looks great and you still have full suspension travel. Think it would work on a stock bobtail fender? (i smell a winter project. lol)
May want to consider a battery tender to keep the battery on when not in use. I have one on my bike that way I know the battery is always charged before every ride.

i have a battery tender and use it all the time but it's the stock battery and so i got over 6 years out of it so i guess that's not to bad.
I would go with a solo seat or badlander type; I like the look that you are sitting in the seat instead of on the seat and a higher front end with the rear lowered looks great to me, but this is just my taste.
It's a Harley so you can't go wrong no matter what you do!!!!
the 1st picture the lady walking was giving me a look after the pic. i didn't know she was in it. and also the crap under the bike is from my cousins truck not the bike. here one more pic
i lowered the rear alittle more tonight, it's about as low as it can go now. but it has the stock 16" tire so it doesn't fill out the fender as well as you guys out there with 18" wheels

Now your talken!!!! Rear end look a billion times better now than last pics. Take it for a ride and hit some bumps. If you bottom out tighten them up with your spanner wrench...Looks good man.
