Another vote for the Wiley XL-1. I also need Rx eyewear (near sighted w/astigmatism). I have 2 pairs, one tinted for daytime, one clear for night both in my Rx.
Great glasses, no wind due to the foam liner, fit nice & snug, got a deal from my local eye glass shop when I ordered the 2of them. Due to the Rx, Wiley does not offer interchangeable lenses. My eyesight is easily worth 2 pair of riding glasses.
My eyes tears bad also, went to eye Dr and got some drops cause he said tear ducts are clogged. Other helpful advice was to put hot washrag on eyes for 5 mins/nite to help open them.
I have found sun glasses that wrap around rather than flat ones helps with the tearing.
Anybody have an option for not wearing a helmet shield? I wear glasses now and have tried to ride with my glasses, but I tear up so bad can't see when riding, not good! I know HD has some glasses that you can order that has the foam behing them, anybody use them or is there a better way or better glasses?
I hate windshields but may need to get one for my 06 Deluxe.
Quality RIDING glasses will seal your eyes from the wind shear. In other words Oakleys and such won't cut it. Harley and many, many other companies make riding glasses that seal your eyes off from wind shear.
