Screaming Eagle HP Air filter system
I have 2000 fxst TC88, My back plate broke on my big sucker air filter system, I bought the screaming eagle, My question is the air filter is white with a blue rim and has no K&N oil on it, Can I spray this filter with oil or not, nothing in the directions about oiling it, I dont want to mess up the filter if it cant be oiled, Any answers would be great.

I went through the filter thing this spring.
My SE K&N filter went south, dealer said I needed new one. I though the SE was a lifetime regular ole K&N filter which I found out its not. Its a filter made for HD by K&N, but not a lifetime one..
Ended up their was a recall on my 07 SE filter cause they are falling apart, but supposed to be replaced by last yr, OOOps dealer didn't tell me last year.. after some talking I only paid the diff between the SE one and a Real K&N one, $18 and now I have a washable and reusable K&N filter.
the SE one is washable but it still wont last as long..
