Good job blacking out the backrest and adding the 'patent' bar/shield badge. Keeps the theme of your scoot going while adding a little functional comfort.
Is your scoot lowered? If so, how much and what did you use to lower?
thanks.. the bike is lowered. not sure of how much as it had the arleness kit on it already. But used the Hd lowered springs for the front. then dropped the back a little more.It is maybe 2+" than stock height.
Tried one on the wife's Deluxe and she didn't care for it. She was looking for something that would bring her forward a bit and the FH one does just the opposite. Seems leaned back too far and too springy. I put a piece of rubber between it and the grab bar and it did help with the support but she still didn't care for it. It's not adjustable.
Everybody's different so it may be worth a try. If I'm not mistaken FH has a decent return policy if you don't like it.
Sweet. Been thinking about making one of those for a while. It looks like someone beat me to it.
FH doesn't make one in chrome for my Heritage so I would think there's still a market for this. I would also want to use it with only my stock front seat without having the back plate exposed behind the seat. Being adjustable would be a nice feature as well...

I know what your saying about springy,i too was a little concerned about fitment. as the plate dont seem to but up against the back seat like the version on there heritage model. so there is a little bit of spring to it.I rold up a little bit of auto carpet to fill the gap. was a little concerned it would take my mounting bolts through the guard. Did email them with pics, and was told that is how they fit and would be fine like that.
