Question Front End Clunk??

I have a 2006 Fatboy. I had the dealership chrome the front end and put chrome calipers on it too. Sometimes when I go to stop I hear a "clunk" from the front end. Anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing that "clunk"??? Thanks!

I wont BS you...never had to deal with this. I would do some common sense stuff though.....check cable tension, check cable housing to make sure it aint to loose or not guided through the retainer thing, check tightness of all bolts on caliper, have someone engage f brake while I look at it to see if its contacting anything. Once I've done all that.....I would call my bro for some cheap advice.

Take it back to the dealer and have them check the fall away/ Head bearing adjust.

That "Clunk" is typically the head bearings. What you are hearing is the shaft clunking as the top bolt that squeezes that whole deal together is too loose.

Easy fix.
