I would love to hear what they say. I have an 05 Heritage with 18K miles that until recently was vibration free. Now I feel it at the floorboards, even at low speeds pulling away from stops. Minor, but irritating as you say.
I figure I'll share this experience with you guys, it might help. My last bike was an 09SG. I installed V&H Oval slip ons and they sounded great. I statred noticing a buzzing in my floorboards and at first I thought it was due to a broken fairing bracket that I was waiting for the part to come in, to have it repaired. Had the bracket done but the buzz was still there. I noticed it the most at highway speeds, but started really paying attention to when it would vibrate. Since I had a tach on the SG I could really monitor it. Found out that it buzzed in every gear at around 2200 RPM and smoothed back out at around 2500-2600 RPM. Turns out it was the mufflers. I think you notice it more at highway speeds because we tend to not spend much time in the lower gears. Since we don't have tachs on our Heritages, it's pretty hard to nail the exact RPM's.
