110 octane????
Competition 100 (unleaded) is designed for high performance street cars, race cars, watercraft, motorcycles, etc. In fact, engines with compression ratios as high as 14:1 will benefit greatly from this clean-burning fuel.
You can buy 110 at the pump here in Michigan, you can NOT pump it directly into your bike.
it has to go in a can, and the guys are right, you don't need it and why would you want to spend more that we already have to. I don't even run 93 in the cooler months, 89 works jst fine. the manual only calls for 91 anyway. if you like to have that good smell, buy some Klotz Benol and run about 3/4 oz in a 5 gal fill up . . . . I have a lot of guys who like to ride behind me. . . .

You only want to run enough octane so your bike won't ping. When choosing octane more is not always better. What you want to do is match the octane to your compression. Stock should run fine on 91-93 octane. Bump your compression up and you will need more octane. I will run 89 octane sometimes as my bike won't ping on it. my last bike with 10-1 pistons needed the highest I could find.
I run it most of the time. But I am turbo'd. Runs WAY better/smoother/faster. Its been sitting around $6.50/gal here. Even though I am not supposed to fill my bike up directly I do. I love the smell too!
