Yes. As long as it's unleaded if you have an O2 sensor bike. I wouldn't go any higher than 100 ish as you will start to lose the benefit of race gas with too much octane and not enough compression.

Why would you want to?? You should run the gas with the lowest octane rating your bike will run well on to maximize efficiency. Running an octane too high will only hurt your mileage, cut your power, and cost you money.

And how do you suppose a guy can determine the best octane for the bike / style of riding?

Listen for spark knock...if none then you are ok....if present then go up a grade of gas.

Moco says to use 91 or higher. So if I try regular unleaded and no ping it's okay. My bike is 88" w/510 cams. If ping then move up to midgrade. I use premium now but would like to go to lower grade with the price of gas rising.

I usually run the 93 on my stage 1 TC88b. Cost me $15.00 to fill up yesterday.

First running to kmuch octane hurts milage(where the heck did you hear this at).You can run as much octane as you want and as long as you can afford it.With 10.5 and any kind of mid range cam youll be fine with 91.I have 12.5:1 evo runs 91 all time no problem ,but the cam I have in it helps by bleeding some of th mechanical compression off.

The higher the octane...the less efficient the gasoline is. Would you notice it in the mileage.....probably not....but it is not accurate to say that you can or at least should...run as much octane as you want.

If you run too much octane with not enough compression you will have a very poor running engine.

Hammer is correct....higher the octain the slower the burn rate. Harley's need 91 stock compression and 93 for 10.5 to 10.8:1, any more compression than 10.8:1 for the road is putting you in risk of detonation.
