5" Inner cable lenght on all the Injected bikes that aint fly by wire... 4 3/4 or 4 7/8 idle cable throw on all TB bikes as well.

I do know my cables are adjusted almost all the way out. to pick up the slack in the cables and they are seated in the correct spot in the TB. The inner cable length could be a tad shorter
Stock or aftermarket grips?

Trust me on this. Double check where you have it sitting. That TB has a spot where the cable can sit where it aint supposed to be.

Measure the inner cable leanght of your throttle line. Should be 5" on the nose. All the late model EFI Twinkie Harleys use a 5" inner cable. If its longer than that you have the wrong cable. If it is in fact 5" and is still too long get your flashlight out and make sure you the cable is where its sposed to be.

Dont ask how I know!!!

I have HD aileron grips...so grips would make a difference? Maybe this could be the OP problem?

Ya know....When I went from my HD Buckshot grips to my PM grips I had to run my adusters all the way out as the cable was right on the verge of being too long where it wasnt with the HD branded buckshot grip.

I'm actually gonna yank my Idle cable which has a 4 7/8 throw and put it in place of the throttle cable and just run one cable.

But this isnt an isolated issue as my throttle cable strikes me to be as long as it could possibly be and still work....I really dont like having to run the adjuster all the way out on a relatively new cable.

Thanks for all the info I'll check on Monday, and the issue is the same for the HD Nostalgic grips I bought as well as the stock grips
