I just finalized the price on my 2010 Heritage through the deployed soldiers program and wanted to try and figure out how good of a deal I got (if it was a deal at all). Here is what I ordered: 2010 Flame Blue Heritage, with security system. Price: $17000 including all delivery and setup fees. I will still have to pax tax, tag and title when I take delivery in 50 days.
Let me know what you guys think and if anyone has bought "the same" bike I would be interested to know how the price compares. Main reason for asking is we are given price protection.
You're active military, will you have to pay sales tax in your state?

Looks like you got the color option, security, freight, and set-up for free. All in all about $1500 worth around here. Seems like a good military discount to me, especially considering that around these parts dealers aren't moving at all on 2010's since they still have 09's on the floor. Enjoy the bike, ride safe, and thank you for your service.
My wife just bought a vivid black one with no security for $18,200 out the door. That's $1200 over msrp. You're paying msrp for a base model and no setup, freight, doc fees or any other of that crap that they add on. I think you got a screaming deal.
When I got mine from the AAFES sales guy, it was 9% below MSRP out the door...but had to pay sales tax (highway use tax) 3% for NC. 17,000 even out the door, and a few hundred bucks at the DMV when you register it sounds like a good deal to me. Congrats!!!
