That's plenty in my book. The tire is just too big to look good slammed in there. The ride is much better than stock.
I highly recommend them..

Cool. I'm really interested in getting lowering my fatboy. Could you link me to where you got yours? Did you get the chrome or zink shocks? I was thinking about the chrome but seems like the zink would hold up better under the bike.

A friend of mine is an independant, and I bought them through him. $450.00 installed.
I got the chrome. I read a post from someone who bought the zinc, and was disappointed with seeing the gold zinc color on his bike.
The chrome was only $50.00 more anyway.

I used them to lower the rear of my fatboy 1 1/4". I used a white brothers kit to lower the front 1 1/4". I really like the lowered look. The ride is stiffer but it still handles great.
