Default What oil are you using??
I'm due a service and think'n about AmsOil synthetic. But not decided on primary and tranny oil yet.

What works best for ya??

just came out of warranty. and from now on I am use mobil1 vtwin 20-50 motor, mobil 1 75-90GL in tranny, and may stick with formula+ in primary, its the only one I haven't changed since the 1k service..23k on her now

Amsoil 20W-50 in engine, Spectro 6-Speed in tranny, HD Formula + in primary.

Amsoil in all 3 holes. Dropped my temps about 30 degrees.

My motor runs under 200 degrees and hits 200 as I ride 80mph or so to/from work (approx 50miles or so).

I use AMSOIL (and filter) in my Rocker with the following weights:

Engine - 20/50
Tranny- 10/40
Primary- 75/140

Amsoil, Amsoil, and Amsoil. 20W-50 in the motor, 75W-90 gear lube in the transmission, ATF in the primary.

I use Bel Ray for the trans and no wine or clank and I can find neutral. I use Motor FactoryŽ Primary Case Lube in the primary. because Amsoil has gone up so much I just switched to Mobil 1 for vtwin and it works as good. I have 39,000 miles in about 2 years and it runs great and no debris in the oil changes.
