TTS Mastertune Gurus - quick question
I think I am going to ditch the Daytona Twin Tech on my Night Train....and go back to the stock ECM and use either a PCV or a TTS. I have a PCV on the Street Glide so I am tempted to go with the TTS just so I know how it works. I like tinkering so why not.
My question is this....the stock ECM on the Train had a Stage 1 download in it before I changed it out. Is the TTS compatible with that....do I need a completely stock ECM? Can the dealer flash me with a stock tune without taking a 2nd mortgage?
TIA for any help.

Nah....it doesn't suck but it doesn't work as well as I'd like. It has a quirky idle that nobody seems to be able to figure out. It runs fine but I think it may intimidate some buyers too, they don't know what it is or they know just enough to make them nervous.
It's always worked pretty good for me, but I think a stock ECM would make a lot of people feel better....plus I want to know how a TTS works and this would give me a chance.

The TTS allows you to flash your ECM with new parameters. The stage 1 the dealer uploaded is nothing but some parameters that control the AFR (air fuel ratio) timing and other settings that control the operation of the bike.
Before you upload new settings with the TTS, you save your original (in your case Stage 1) settings of the ECM on your computer, and replace them with the ones you select from the TTS files that suits your build.
So no need for the ECM to be set back to "original"
Before you spend money on the TTS mastertune, you should download the manual. Explains it all.

Not knowing the Daytona unit at all. I looked it up, there site says the V&H's unit is not self adjustable. Only one in our group uses the VH, but he can adjust it just by pressing the buttons...they both still look like basic A/F units
