Does anyone have an alternative besides the Harley passenger floor boards for an '05 Heritage?
$250.00 seems like it's a little much for floor boards. Wife says she needs them before we head to Reno in a few weeks for Street Vibrations. I don't want something that look too cheesy on there.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
FWIW, I had boards on my bike for 3 years. Put 'em on there 'cause the ex-wife couldn't keep her boots of the pipes. I took 'em off because the new wife didn't like the way they looked, and she said that the pegs were more comfortable. According to her, the pegs allow her to adjust her foot and leg position more.
Before you buy any of the "other" floorboards, has your wife sat on a heritage with boards? You could spend a pile of cash trying to find the right board/peg combo. If she knows she will be comfy with the heritage boards, you might just want to bite the bullet and buy those than force her to settle for something she doesn't like.
