04 night train won't start

04 night train won't start
got a 04 night train,carbed,stock....doesn't want to start....turn ignition switch on push button to run,hit starter,it turns motor over,but no fire,changed the coil,still nothing...blinkers flash rapidly...is this a trouble code ?

Still learning on bikes but on older cars b4 they went to obd2 they would flash a code like that. Count the flashes then it should pause count them again. If it is like a older car it should give u ur code if it's like older cars. Hope that helps.

Does it have a factory security system? If it does it sounds to me like you have it activated. If so, when the ignition is in the off position you should have a little key symbol flashing on your speedo or if you just stand the bike up off the jiffy stand the signals should flash.

Is your stop run switch set to run? New plugs are cheap, try that next. Are the plug wires on tight? That would be the next place I would look. Fuses? The list goes on...Check for spark on the wires too.

Spray some starter fluid or some other combustible fluid into the carb while turning it over to rule out fuel starvation.

Have you ever taken your ignition switch apart? It's ez just watch how it all comes apart so you know how it goes back together... "The place you insert the Key" I had a problem with mine once and it was sigs were blinking like 4 times after I turned the switch on.
I bet your contacts in the ignition switch are dirty... Hell it'll only take you a half hour to try... I would. Good luck man.
