I recently got a Lick's solo saddlebag off a forum member (thanks for the killer deal) and have had a chance to use it a bit. Here i smy review compared to my other bag which seemed to have no brand.
the leather on teh Lick's bag is far superior and the Indian Head coins on top of the straps are beautiful. I was not so sure about the coinds, but they are really cool. The main advantage to the Lick's are the clips for opening adn closing the bag. The other bag had straps which worked great, but the clips really simplify the process of getting things in and out of it.
I mounted the bag on a custom bracket that came with my last bag off of ebay so I can mount it with my true duals without it hitting the pipes (although I have read that makes no difference anyway). The bracket mounts to the rear footpeg hole and the second strut bolt with a small bracket thingamabobber for lack of the real word.
I was a bit concerned about how much I could get in the Lick's bag with the clips, but the straps are adjsutable so you can fit quite a load in it. What I learned after the last bag is do not stuff it too full with too much force or the side in the rear may rtear as happened to the last one. It seems a rivet at the top of the seam around the edges would make a lot of sense, but none of these bags I have seen have had one yet. Pics to come when I get a chance.
The lick's bag is about $200 but I'd say it's worth every penny for the quality of the product.

They make one to match the crossbones stiching..I bought your old one as a starter bag, see if it will do the trick for the rest of summer. But I will definitely be buyin one this winter if they store at the very least a hoodie..

You can store more in the one I sold you, especially with the small rip. The new one seems a bit tighter and I am extremely cautious of overloading it now. Have you received it yet?
I don't know about their bags, but their customer service is good. I wanted to order a Biltwell Metalflake helmet this weekend (outside of normal operating hours). I e-mailed them to see if they had it in stock, and got a response within 2 hrs on Saturday afternoon. I didn't expect to hear anything until today, but was very surprised/ pleased.
