My wife and I each have our own bikes and we were discussing signals to use while riding. We even discussed getting a 2-way radio system where could talk to one another for longer rides.
I wanted to ask if there are established hand/horn/lights..etc signals that people generally use.
Does anyone have a communications system (not touring)?
Have a look at IMC Motorcom product. They sell Bluetooth headset that allow for rider to rider communication up to 500 feet. Should be ample for the distance between you and your wife while riding. In case you guys get separated you can always use the bluetooth headsets to call each other via cell phone and use up all those free mobile to mobile minutes that you have.
the advantage of bluetooth intercoms is that it gets rid of all the cable work and install mess of CBs as J&M
