From: 40 miles Northeast of Indy..
Default

Heritage, done the 1-5-10-1-20 services..

stg1 at 1k, cams at 16k.
New rear tire at 9.5k & both front and rear at 21k.
Dealer did rear brakes at 16k but could have gotten more as I checked them and they had 1/2 material left, the front brakes are still org and I am coming up on 24k.

Only problem I had to take her back in for was improper install of Rush mufflers at 1k stg1, wrench didn't get them sealed and had air leaks and bad decell popping.

Passing lights were ajusted and shocks tightened a little up for a heavier load at the 1k service also.

Also the turn/running/stop switch I put in burned up and they replaced..

Just a couples weeks ago she died right in front of one of our Indy shops (that was convenient) and found that the battery bolts were loose, 1/2-3/4 turn, snugged them up and hasn't missed a lick since...

Never had any motor problem or oil leaks and never had to go back in for anything else in the 23.6K miles and shes running stronger as time goes on..

Pleased as all get out with her.

14K and only one problem. When I go for a ride the bike doesn't seem to want to turn back toward the house.
Other than that none. She's tied with my old 69 FLH as far as best goes.

Thumbs up No problems...

12,000+ mi. Scheduled service only, using Syn3 fluids throughout since 1k mi. The only thing that bugs me is the pronouned "clunk" that these (early?) 6-speed trannies make when shifting gears. Might be worse with the synthetic fluids.

Includes a road trip to Sturgis this year. No problems, hot weather, cold weather, sun, rain, snow, whatever!

You may want to try some BelRay in the tranny. It'll quiet it down & shift smoother
