Hated to do it. My 07 FXSTC was my favorite bike of all times.


But I traded it in on a 2010 Ultra Classic. For those interested, I got $13k for it on trade. I tried to sell on here and craig's list without a single nibble.

I didn't want to trade but my wife felt that three bikes was enough and to keep her happy, I traded. That is how we have made it 44 years together. If it does not sell this fall at the dealer, I am going to try to get the ok to buy it back.

Congrats on the new bike, she's a beauty. Sorry you had to give up your Custom, but look at it this way: some one will end up buying that bike and enjoying her as much as you did.

 

Love my 07 Custom too... took 'er to Sturgis round-trip this summer... great ride.

Sometimes I think about the benefits of a Touring model too... mainly the hard bag storage...

Have fun on the big boy... should be a great long-distance ride.
