I have a99 night train with carlini bars. love the look, i do get a vibration from them when i go 35mph in second gear or in other words high rpms. one mechanic said it because of the bars. another guys said ti might be the motor mounts which i checked and they seem tight. anyone else get the feeling from those bars?

Pete, did you go with the Polyeurethane bushings when you put your bars on? That should have taken care of it....

i'm not sure cause i bought the bike last monday from a private owner. This is my first harley so i'm not sure if this vibration is normal. To check do i just unscrew them from the top stand?

Yup, you'd probably have to also take the bushings out to see what kind they are.I think if you're going to the trouble of taking the bars off to check the bushings, you should probably buy the polyeurethane ones first and just replace them. No use going through all the trouble when you don't have the replacements handy. Good Luck!
