Default Anyone with Carlini bars on a Fatboy?

I really like the look of the carlini clean sweep bars. Just wondering if anyone had them on their fatboy and if so are they comfortable? I don't want to feel like I have to lean forward just to reach the bars. What rise and pullback do you have? Thanks

I have an 04 Fat Boy and went with Wild 1 - 501's 8" drag bars. See http://www.wild1inc.com/handlebars.html. They have a spec sheet on rise, and pullback, etc, so you can make a realistic comparison to stock bars (5.5" rise and 9.5 pullback). I wanted approx 1-2" more pullback and 2" of rise - the 501s do this. This site also shows you pics of customer bikes with bars mounted; and another section with alternating pics of stock bars vs. their bars mounted on various HD models. It's the best on-line comparison I've seen. Lots of Forum members recommend Wild 1. The bars are good quality and the prices are great. They allowed me to exchange the bars if needed...they only required that I leave the packing foam on the bars when I mounted them for feel. Can't beat that...

Also...check out their RK 508 and RKII 518s (Road King styles) for your Fat Boy. A real nice alternative to drag bars while keeping the classic FB look.

Have fun...

How is the rise and pullback compared to the stock ones for your slickbacks?

only pics I saw were one picture online from the catalog ... but they didnt look like your photo... I think they are also thicker 1.5" bars. looking at their spec, they say they are about the same as stock, slightly higher and back. so how is the position compared to stock?

Love those Slickbacks! I have regular Carlini drags on my 'Train. I might be considering changing now. How comfortable are those. Are they 1.25 or 1.5" diameter? Looks sick.

Mines are 1.5" thick. Great riding position, Only thing better on a fat boy is some nice beach bars. just an opinion.
