Angry softtail oil filler

i was always wondering why does the softtail modles use the horse shoe oil filler and my and the dyna modles do not.......thanks maybe i will sleep to night knowing lol

I think it is done to fill the bike as much as possible visually. If you look at a softail from the side they are completely filled no spaces or gaps compared to the other bikes. They are able to do this due to lack of big 'ol rubber mounts.

The SOFTAIL was MADE to LOOK LIKE the RIGID FRAME MODELS OF OLD, and the RIGIDS ALL HAD THE HORSESHOE OIL BUCKETS!!!

where else could they put it, so it hasta curve so it don't look like torpedo.
