Need some storage/transport room on my Night Train.
Looking at options for a left sidebag.
I dont want it to scrape. Like the Garage Leather (solo/chopper) and Leather Works (312L/312XL) bags.
Anyone know how they are size wise. I read their sizes on the site, but they dont do the size the same way. I am thinking the GL solo is a little bigger/longer than the LW 312L.
Those who have one, what can you store/carry? I would like to fit a set of clothes/uniform or boots.
I have heard people say they have scraped these bags , but I have never done it to mine ...you would really have to be leaning in to scrap your bag ... just my personal experiance ... never had a problem knock on wood ..

CC,
I am running the double strap solo-BL1004DS garage leather solo bag. No scraping for me so far. I also used soft side velcro to protect my paint. I can tote gloves, a light jacket, spare glasses, extra shirt, flask for hydration, and other small miscellaneous items.
I have a garage leathers bag. No scraping at all. I am gonna guess you are not going to get boots into any of these. You might look into a detach sissy bar you can hook a travel bag to. That's what I use for work clothes. The solo is great for a few tools, clear glasses, registration, insurance papers, wallet, cell and a long sleeve-T.
If you want a little more room, for boots and a uniform, check this out. I took a few five day trips and love this bag. It comes off in 'bout 10 seconds. Holds more than you would think. Jeans, 4 socks,4 tees, 1 sweatshirt, 1 long sleeve, 4 undies, hygene stuff, swimsuit. Kuriakyn (sp) grand roll bag
