What size O ring was that? That sounds like the way to go especially if it is configured where you can not see it from the outside.
Also has anyone found a rain cover for the spiked filters? and finally, please update the code if you have a new one. I need a discount.
Use a 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 inch inside diameter O ring. Don't worry it'll stretch!! As for the cover, I think the D&M 2301 should fit just fine. See link below! Get the one in the top picture. Here's the coupon code I got yesterday, WS40. (apply code at checkout. Sales end on Jan 15, 2010 11:59pm PST)
UPDATE: So far....so bad. Ordered the spike intake (IK002) from D2Moto last Monday (12th), and within hours someone was using my Visa to order **** from an online store in Hanoi, VN. Cancelled the card and got the charges cleared, but a real PITA.
So the intake arrives yesterday MINUS intallation instructions. I contacted customer service and they emailed me the pdf with the instructions within minutes.
However, once I got the instructions and parts list, I find D2Moto has FAILED to include the collar needed to attach the intake elbow to the plate on the throttle body! I'm pretty frustrated by now since I had the old intake in pieces on the garage floor and now have to put it back together without my new toy attached So I called customer service back and they say they will UPS me the missing piece.
Should have it in 5 days or so. Sheeeeesh.....
Can you send me a copy of the install instructions? I purchased this off ebay for my 2000 Dyna Wide Glide carb model but it didn't come with install instructions.
