Default Lowering Bars on Night Train

Is there a way to lower the neck on my Night Train so the drag bars almost sit directly on top of the fork?

Might be able to go a little lower if you turn the bars down.

4" risers will clear to the left side. Or when parked, but they wont clear the throttle cables on the right side.

i have 4inch riser on my '06 springer with drag bars the throttle cables hit the tank and on the left the acorn nut form the mirror hit the tank.So i just turned the bars up a bit and it solved the problem.I am not sure if a night train would be the same or not.

want 2 to d same as u...during my research i found this:
http://www.oncycles.com/catalog.asp?r=1&pn=MCB00031
...their r intended for sportsbikes...d nt has 41mm fork tubes so could work...don't know if they r 1" in diameter...they would go right under d top triple tree...some mods to controls + grips r very probable...i'm gave up on d idea cause i'm too short to for the reach...it's just an idea

Unhappy

Been looking at this idea for sometime and I finally looked at the risers on the Screamin Eagle V-ROD Drag bike, the risers are only 1" high, but move the bars 2" forward. Did all the measuring and all looks good so I asked the parts guy at the Stealership for part # and prices. Well so ends the story, getting the parts was no problem, BUT the $$$$$ is insane. Like $450.00 for just the V-ROD parts not counting the shorter brake line you would have to have. So I am stuck with my 4"ers for now. Ride safe

I just did this mod about 2 months ago....4" is about as low as you can go without something hitting. I installed 4 1/4" straight risers that are thicker than stock Harley risers so they look shorter than they actually are....you gain another 1/4-1/2" if you replace stock gas caps with recessed, pop-up style. If your doing this, I would also recommend replacing stock rubber riser bushings with the polyurethane bushings....I found that it eliminated that little bit of slop I could feel in the steering.
