i had the metzler 210 and it was a great tire but wear was 4700 miles and Dunlop were 10000. the stock Dunlop does not grip at all on turns or road dirt or water. the new road smart works great in rain and road dirt and i have 1000 on it and the tread wear has not shown yet. I am taking a trip next week to the pig trail in arkansas and will get to compare to metzler on the same roads. i decided to try this tire for mileage and price. I also have my first avon on the front and had the metzler 150/80 and 120/70. the 130/70 avon has been the best. all i can say is try the different tires until you find the ones you like best for what you are looking for
Is there a problem running a Metzeler ME880 130/90-16 and say an Avon or Dunlop 150/80-16 on the back? I am a tire idiot but read really good things about the Metz on grooved and wet roads.
