If the rumors are true the my 06 FLSTI will be a one year production bike. If this happens what effect will this have on the resale price of my bike. Also will parts and accessories be harder to find.
My roommate has the black FLSTI, and we have heard from 4 different dealers that it will not return!!
You shouldn't have to worry about parts...it's a softail, so all our parts are very similar!!
Like Candace said...no worries about parts...its the same bike a the heritage, just stripped down. It also shares tyhe same frame and powerplant and the Fatboy.
As far as value...thats hard to say...In the short term it should hold its value against the other models. I you keep it long term (years) and maintain it, It may appreciate significantly since its a limited production...
In my world, anytime there is a limited supply of anything the prices always go up. [:@] The same might very well hold true with your bike -- if you keep it long enough.
On the one hand . . . Lucky you! You bike will be an instant collector's item.
on the other . . . once it is a collector's item, do you continue to ride it or should you put it in a bubble and keep it like new for 30 years so it will be worth a million $$$ later on?
