Spark plugs
I was just wondering how often everyone changes their spark plugs? Do you change them every so many miles or oil changes, or do you wait until the owners manual states. Or do you wait until you notice something wrong with the way it runs.

I change them everytime I change the fluids (about every 5000 miles). They could last a lot longer but I figure what the heck.
I've had the best success with the cheap 6R12's. Of course, I am runnning a stock motor and ignition.

I change mine every spring service. BTW, what gap is everyone going with? (.038- .043) I've gone on the low side, high side, and now at .040 and noticed no change. Auto's don't have a guessing game, why MaMa Harley?
