Default It is a GREAT day

Cheers fellows. I bought my first Harley today. For any who have seen my posts - I rode up to the Bristol night race in August with some friends (on one of my friend's RK Classic). I LOVED it. I started looking for a bike the minute we got back and finally decided on a Fat Boy. I bought a 2009 with the Black Ice / Blue Ice paint. I bought the reaper wheels, sprocket, and brake rotors and they are on order. The dealer gave me a credit on the factory chrome wheels so I can't ride it until they change the wheels next week. Shoud be able to pick up the bike Teusday or Wednesday. Woooohheeee.

In addition I got a deed in the mail today. On the same trip to Bristol one of my best friends over the last 15 years and a Jack Daniels Tennesse Squire nominated me to be a Squire. I was accepted and was deeded one square foot of land in Lynchburg, TN. Time for a road trip. I am filling up my tank and buying some toothpicks - cause I am going to be doing some fencing.

I am now a new Harley owner and a Jack Daniels Tennesse Squire. Don't know how today can get much better, but Hey....my wife isn't home yet.

I will post pics when I pick up the bike. Thanks to all who offered advice and suggestions. It is good to be part of the group.

thanks PT. Congrats back at you! I am pretty sure it doesn't matter but I intend to go through my break in period then add air cleaner and Big Shot Staggered's (with quiet baffles). Still undecided about the dealer remap or a tuner (TTS, PCV. etc.) The more I read, the more my head spins....

Congrats on the new ride, and becoming a land owner in Lynchburg. If you are going to fence in your new found property, use the flat toothpicks..and of course you can use the round ones for the Log Cabin.Be safe

Default Thanks Capn

Not sure I am ready to build. If I ever decide to settle down I will get a box of rounds.
