Default Deluxe with 21" wheel lowering question

Everyone, I have an 09 Deluxe with 21" front wheel. I am looking to lower the front to get the frame back to parallel with the pavement. The question is how much? My kit allows 1 or 2 inches. Will the 1" do the trick or should I go 2? Since the rear is already 1" lower from the factory, i am thinking 2" in front would be better with the taller 21" wheel and tire combo. Thoughts?

2" sounds like a good number. 1" would help. but definitely 2". You know what she said. I never knew that 1" or 2" could make such a difference.

Where did you get your 21 inch spoke wheel from? is it a 21 x 3.5?

I have an '07 Heritage that I have been wanting a spoke 21 for the front on. Did it come with 1" axle bearings?

I would go 2" ...ummm kind of like mine...With a 21" it brings ur front end +1" also it looks like you have a metzler on too so add a little more as the metzlers do look taller than the avons.

I did 2" on mine, which is also another 1"+ lower in the rear.

Yeah, I do have a Metz. So with 2" the frame will still not be parallel? Just don't want 2" to be too much. Not planning on dropping the rear(YET).

Mine is still stock height in the front. I know I should lower it, but after a friend bent his front rim on a bike that was lowered 2" I thought twice. Whether or not that it will affect it, I sold my front lowering kit to a bud and have decided I am fine.

I went against the grain of lowering my Luxe as compared to many of my counterparts. Then again, the fact that I'm 6'3/245 makes the bike sit nicely when I'm on it and doesn't send shockwaves through my spine when I ride it.
