Started sanding down my tins today! Gotta finish sanding tomorrow, then primer goes on hopefully.
I'm using Rustoleum painters touch x2. Going with OD green on one side, flat black on other side, with flat white stripe going down the center. Should look pretty dope once finished.
I had done some paintwork on one of my previous bikes (it was a Honda). I used Rustolium Laquer Spray. After I painted it, I sanded it down with 1200 then 3000 then buffed. Nobody ever believed that it wasnt painted in a booth. It was just as shiney, if not shinier than the rest of the bike. Its all about what paint you use and how you prep/finish it
Rattle canned the front fender and spotlights this spring because it was to late to get them done properly. Just sent out the spotlights and some other stuff to get P/C. The fender, that's staying because it matched great, unlike the spots which were showing lots of wear for some reason.
