I'm looking for an exhaust solution (the best) for my stock HD FatBoy '09 (Black Denim).
A monster sound and performance improvement are very expected.
I do prefer the muffles because I don't want to change the main looking of the stock pipes - but it is my main idea until now... we never know...
The Jekill & Hyde solution until now is my very 1st choice, but it cost a lot! I need to know if there is another so good option as this product (considering my opinion) for a better price...

I'm making searchs about SuperTrapp, Rinehart, Vance & Rines...
Youtube is a very valuable tool to see these toys.
You are going to get quite a few different opinions, since everyone has different taste. I spent a couple of years trying to decide what exhaust to go with.
The top 2 that I came up with, for my taste, was the 2 into 2, V&H, BSS (Big Shot Staggered) and the 2 into 1 D&D, Fat Cat.
I went with the Fat Cat, with the quiet baffle, which is still fairly loud.
It has a deeper and quieter sound then the regular baffle and gives you a bit more power at the lower RPMs, where you do most of your riding.

I have the stock pipes with D&D slip on's on my 07 fatboy, Don't really like the sound, they sound Mids with a little low mixed in. Guess I'm looking for something deeper yet loud and from what I have seen everybody else who has Fatboy's on here seem to like V&H big shots with the slash cut, the look good on the Fatboy for sure.
i am looking for a set of slip on mufflers to. i like the stock look the only thing i see is the black rush slip on mufflers.....the bike comes with the satin chrome slip on mufflers which i like but to quiet for me lol..
This is a very subjective question. What one person likes another hates. Go to the local biker hang out and watch and listen to bikes with different exhaust systems. Then take it from there. It's kind of like asking what color is the best.

D&D Fat Cats are just a very expensive copy of my Pyhton 2-1 system. Before and after I painted them. I paid $395 and good scoot and sound too. Just remember if the pipes end straight down from your ears in the riding position, then they will seem louder than pipes that go back by the axle or rear fender.
