They are not an off brand, the are vee rubber. Doug at metal sports wheels originally got them in the works. As of a couple of weeks ago the tires still are not available. they were supposed to be here in august but got delayed. I been talking with doug and he said that he is hoping for mid dec. I planned on calling tomorrow and seeing if there in.
As for the ginny pig for the 23. I am going to be putting one my 75 FLH if all the math works out. Trying to keep stock rake and putting front air ride on. Just have to make sure everything clears first.
I've never heard of them, but after seeing their website, I would pass until there's been a ton of test results from independents. Having bought cheap Chinese tires on a car to save a buck and having them blowout, I'm in no hurry to buy tires for my bike from Thailand.
They may end up being great tires, but until I see them winning some independent comparo tests, I wouldn't put them on my bike. Just my opinion.
Vee Rubber is the company that made the 360 tire for choppers and sport bikes. I heard there was some trouble with them (360's) holding air but haven't experienced it first hand.
I had never heard of them before the extra wide tire craze and if the tire is a good one I hope they can deliver quicker than they did on the others.
In our experience if you want a white wall 21" tire I would go with a 21 x 3.0". The 90/90-21 Avon or Metzler will fit much better on that width wheel than a 21 x 3.5". I know Ride Wright makes a 21 x 3.0" wheel but I am not sure about DNA.

they have been around for about 5/6 yrs. Alot of pro builders use them as they make the larger size tires,22's,23's,24's and 26's sizes and also the really wide 360. i have heard some issues as of people not liking the way the 23 and 26 handle, but most of them didnt have the right set up for running that big of wheel, Like rake and trail.
And if your 21 white wall is an avon, i wouldnt hesitate to check for dry rot every so often with that tire because avons have been know to be prone to that.
but if you do some searching you will find people like paul yaffe and john shoppe(sinister industries) running 23 and 26 rims with the vee rubber tires stating that there bikes handle better than stock. But like i said, they have the correct setup for it to work. You just can expect to throw a wheel that big with a tire that has a totally diff arch and side wall to handle the same with out doing some mods. Thats why before i order a 23 i am trying to figure out all the math to make it work and handle well with a stock or close to stock setup and design.
