Have any of you experienced a wobble at higher speeds running the 21 inch front? I recently put on the DNA 21X 2.15 with Metzler tires and my front end starts to wobble past 70. I talked to the shop who put the tire on and they claim it is common with this type of "show wheel". Is this the case or is someone trying to pass the buck for faulty work? Would the 21X 3.0 inch rim be better? I only went with the 2.15 because I was told there was not a white wall in the 3.0, but since have read that the 90-21 can be stretched. I have no problem taking it to another shop and/or buying the 3.0, but want to get the 411 before I do. Thanks

I've had my bike up higher than that and haven't had any wobble. Haven't gone triple digits, but close.
Is your wheel a 21X 2.15, 3, or 3.5? What tire are you running? And did you make any other modifications specific to the wheel swap like lower your front end or anything? Thanks for the quick response.
If you are getting a wobble check your tire pressure and steering head bearings. I regularly drive over 70 and 80 with no issues with wobble. Also, is your tire balanced properly? I run a 90/21 white wall on a 21x3" rim and have driver 30K on this wheel with no issues.

It's a 2.15" rim, and my front is lowered about 2".
Do you have an even amount of fork oil in each fork? I am convince that your problem must be in something that has been suggested here. Are your spacers in the forks cut to the same length exactly?
I always check my tire pressure, but I haven't checked my fork oil lately. The wheel was supposedly balanced, but the shop machined the spacers so I'm thinking maybe that's where the problems coming from. I'm going to take my bike to another shop for a second opinion, simply for the fact that the shop that installed the wheel should've at least checked what Dr. V-Twin suggested when I took the bike back instead of blaming it on a "show wheel". Thanks for the info.
