Default X-bones seat on fatboy

Hey guys and gals. Been tossing the idea around of putting a x-bones seat on a 07 fatboy. I know I would have to some finagialing with the mount for the seat to fit, but just wondered if anybody else has allready done this and put one on there Fatboy? If so could you post a pic of it, I just don't want to go through all of this and not like the look afterwards? I think it would look good on it!!

I think it would look good too. I think someone on here has put one on a Deluxe but I have not seen one on a Fatty yet.

I had one on my FL Springer for a while and it is an easy Mod to make. You have to drill and tap two holes for the front mount. Don't know what's behind the battery on your fatboy but I had to chop off a couple of **** that had a couple of connector plugs attached to them to bolt in the piece that holds on the lower Spring mount.

Here's a pic of what mine looked like before I went to the pogo seat I have now.

Not a cross bones seat and not a fatboy, but this should give you an idea of the look.

Thanks, Ebay seat, Fab Kevin seat hinge, generic rear posts and springs from Justifieddefiance.com., made the battery cover from tin from Home Depot. It took maybe 1/2 a Saturday to change everything out.

I like the Jockey Shifter. Did you fabricate that yourself or buy it someplace?
