I have an 07 Fatboy and need a new battery. Any suggestions on brand and how many cranking amps are needed.

I've had good luck with Deka and some say that's what Harley uses then puts their name on it.

Visit a Harley dealer and get a OE replacement. I've heard too many horror stories about bargain batteries. You might also pick up a Battery Tender. An '07 shouldn't need a new battery.

An '05 Ultra Classic (purchased in Aug. '04) I recently sold still had the original battery. I kept the battery connected to a tender when not riding.

I do no have a tender and the battery test at 75%. Any thoughts on the alarm syst. draging the batter down this far over night.

Be sure to only get a sealed battery you don't want to run the risk of acid leaking while its in your bike..that's some bad news...I would go the dealer route

Very competively priced, "yuasa" batteries are a very good battery. Research them and you'll see...
