Just my luck I have nothing like that.
I'd call them back up and explain the circumstances of the missing pin bag. I'm sure they'll send out another package. I believe their available through J & P Cycles also.

Did you get the Magnum 'Chromite's' cables. I too, went with those and am very pleased.

I didn't. I kind of wish I did. I can still send them back if I decided to because I haven't installed them. These drag specialty cables don't seem too bad but the Magnum Chromite's I think would look better.

OK I'll Chime in.

I ordered the whole set, 12.5" Chubby's with the chrome switches, covers ,cables, levers and reservoir.

They were cheaper than anywhere else for the whole package but they also did charge my card the day I ordered. I ordered over the phone and the guy I talked to said the order should go out in a couple days. After a week I still did not have a tracking number and after several emails and two weeks later I finally got an answer to where my stuff was.

They said they shipped it that day but it was a week later that I finally got it and it was not shipped till the following day that they told me it was so they lied to me about the shipping.

I am happy with the stuff though. It looks good and the only problem I had was also with the brake lever not hitting the switch making the brake light stay on. I had to modify it to work.

Oh yeah also the shipping box was lousy, Their fault. They threw the bars in a box with another small box and the bars were broke through and sticking out the box when I got it.

Luckily they had the bars wrapped pretty good so they did not get scratched or damaged, but I was real lucky nothing else fell out of the box.

I would be wary

I bought my bars and cables from them after I wrecked my bike and was fixing it up. I called them, told them what I was looking for and such and then they made a recommendation. I was more than happy with my experience with them and when I need to work on bars on any future bikes I may own, they'll get my business.

I just got the whole deal done and did it myself...put an HCC 16" ape kit (bars, cables, chrome switches) on my Heritage over the Christmas break and this thread brought back some thoughts/experiences. #1, the bars look AWESOME and ride GREAT. I agree that it took me quite a while to get in touch with the sales dept and it was hell trying to reach them due to a full answering machine. Other than that, it took about 10 days to get to my doorstep and, yes, they charged my card about 3 days before they shipped. If you can deal with those 2 negatives, then I think you will come out on top price-wise. The packaging on my bars was great, so no issues there. As far as the deutsch connectors go, I crimped my wire pins with angled needle-nose pliers and it worked out just fine (take your time). I am not good with soldering, so I had to go to the Harley dealership to get the new pins. This job definitely takes PATIENCE if you have never done it before...take your time and do not get frustrated (wanted to knock my bike out a few times, but really got to know her)! Make sure you install the poly riser bushings as well if you are putting on ape hangers!
