I have an 06 softail standard and was wondering if the strap had to be removed to remove the seat. If the strap needs to be removed then how many reinstall the strap.....put it back on or just leave it off?
I removed my strap and just left it off. All that holds the seat down is the lip in the front, and the Knurl **** screw in the back. Oh yeah, and my ****! I think the strap removed makes for a cleaner look.
