It is a challenge, could always get a taller spring, I think they make a 4" hairpin. I couldn't go with the coils because I would have had to chop more of the battery cover, and it would have exposed more of the electronics.

I will try and take a better one tomorrow when the sun is out. It is hard for me to get a good profile shot in the garage, because every photo I take you cannot get a real good look of the seat area, it just looks like a jumbled mess.
Look for one tomorrow.

I really like the hairpin and wanna keep it low pro, so i think i'm gonna mock a couple o different things up and see what feels and looks good. Thanks for the ideas!

Thanks. I think I'm going to go that way too. Maybe get a custom cover or something. I cant wait ti see the pics.

really , really nice looking bike , the brown bits pull it all together

what's going on with the springer ? did you just remove the shock or is there something else going on there ?

its just the stock springer front end. for some reason that pic. looks weird
