Hmmm your motorcycle parked were bikes are supposed to park. You get pissed when a bike parks to close to your bike in the bike parking. You intentionally damage this persons bike and create hardship for them all due to you parking your motorcycle in a unauthorized area. Hmmm think about the guy on the bike when he pulled up to park his bike were he is supposed to felt.
Dude, seriously we all love our scoots but what gives us the right to park them were ever the hell we want them and expect all others to bow down to our ego. I am sure they thought the same thing as you "WTF are they thinking, there is a whole parking lot for them to use!". Voice of reason but what if they threw that same chain around your tire and locked you up and rode away with a smile on their face....

Nobody cares if you don't like it. I was only making the point that parking MC in covered bicycle racks is common practice on military bases and the OP was not doing anything unusual by parking there. Check out the racks on Yokota AB and you will see a lot more MC than bicycles.

Lets make it clear that this may be common on an Air Force Base but it is not common on all military bases... Just because 1 or 10 are doing it, does it still make it right? Trying to set the standard on your services core values what ever they may be, is this wrong? SO what did I say that you feel like I was wrong??? Besides making and off the cuff statement about ALL MILITARY bases as if it was a fact when you can not back this up.

try reading it again...really. You were a submariner, in 17 years havent known to many Marines that have been down in a submarine. Im not going to sit here and define a Marine's attitude to you - you could have taken that route. Sure things change, 2 major wars later? You gotta ask? I'll just stick to the threads about the scoots.
When I was in, the cold war was going strong and heavy. And it looked like wwIII was looming nearly everyday. Do you remember a little thing called a line of death from Lybia ? Beirut ? Grenada ? The marines I knew guarded the sub bases. They had their job to do but they would also help anyone out too. I thankyou for your service over in the desert but it doesn't mean you have to be an egotist.

Let me get this straight. You parked your prized possession by a BICYCLE rack in a place for bicycles and you got upset and done some silly thing because a BICYCLE used the rack and it was touching your prized possession?
