the nacelle, is that the plate behind the headlight? seems most of the top portion of the 2010 Fatboys fork is chromed already.
Forgive my ignorance on the subject. I am just looking for some input from actual riders and wrenchers as opposed to just from the dealer.
I do not think it is chrome, just shiny stainless.
I agree look on ebay for the kit you need.
If you get eh sliders, get the cowbells. you have pill the wheel to replace them later.
I would also get the chrome spacers at the same time, or you have to pull the wheel to replace them.
hell, just get the kit and do it all at once.

Thanks guys, I already have the kit ordered thru the dealer. I was just worried that with the kit i was duplicating some parts that were already chrome.
I have the fork kit, then chromed out the handlebars, the switch housings, switches, brake fluid tank, and the brake and clutch leavers. Plus a set of stealth grips to top it all off
Only problem now is, I bought the bike last weekend and never took it for a ride yet.. waiting on the upgrades to be completed!
LOL, I just can't stop hyperventilating!!!!

Mines an 09.The cow bells and the nacelle parts on the back of the forks were stainless. The nacelle part on the front of the forks behind the headlight was chrome.I assume yours is the same.I bought the whole kit.Looks great.Especially with the chrome wheels. The factory forks looked out of place.
What detachable windshield do you have, i noticed in the pic your turn signals havent been moved?
Happy with the size etc? Any suggestions on a shield?
I got the Harley Nostalgic detachable.Part #57140-05.It measures 20.50" above the headlight. It's a little to tall,as I look through it instead of over it.I am going to replace the shield with a shorter one.Rifle makes them in 3 sizes to fit the stock mounting hardware.I'm happy with it except it needs to be a little shorter. It goes on and off in about 20 seconds.Kinda pricy at $375.I've heard of guys cutting them down, but I don't know how it would turn out.
