I finally got to sit on a Fatboy that had them installed. Felt great...except, even adjusted back to just before being in the way of the brake pedal...my legs are still too dang short to put my feet on them!

They still feel good if I put my heels on the front of the boards with the ***** of my feet resting on the pegs.

I'm wondering how much different the peg placement will be on the new Mark IV version that mounts to the frame...

Funny----u may not need them then if you are vertically challenged in regards to your scoot

The dealer told me that the placement was the same because they called the manufacturer. I don't see how they would look the same since they are attatched to the frame.

It seems to me that the ones attached to the frame would be out a little farther. I wouldn't be able to reach them. When I have the one on the right adjusted nice, it gets in the way of my brake pedal. When it's not in the way of the brake, it's too far away. I need a smaller brake pedal. Any comments???

yeah---I had that problem too. It took a few rides around the block and readjustments. The two are not adjusted the same. The left side is down a little more because I adjusted the shifter down toward the boards for easier shifts. The one on the right side is a little closer to me because of the brake pedal.......they are extemely close; but not totally. I know what you're talking about though. You just have to play with them.

From what I see on the Kuryakyn website, the new Mk IV's come in two different sizes. One size for inseams 30" or less and another for 30" and above. Would like to see them up close on a bike to see how they attach. I'm happy with my MK III's.

sfcmo357,

Thanks for posting those pics so quickly, sure gonna get a set of the MKIII rather than the MKIV. I anything I can't wait til August.

HOGWYLDPR , thankyou also for posting your pics. That rear angle really shows them off.
