Hello all-- newbie here wondering if anyone knows a good independent mechanic in the Portland, Oregon area. Just bought a '94 FLSTN-- don't know much about its history and would like to get a full 10,000 mile service to make sure it's all good. Dealership wants a lot of $$$. I'm hoping to learn to do this stuff myself, but for now, I'd like an experienced hand. Please let me know if anyone knows someone they like and trust around here.
I haven't used these guys but have heard good things about them. I'm actually going to be calling them for some help on a 103" upgrade for my '09 Road King this week.
All American Cycles in Portland or Oak Grove Choppers in Oak Grove (Milwaukee) would be my recommendation. I've had good parts buying experiences at both. Never used them for service, but know some that do.
A 10K isn't that hard, grab yourself a manual and see what it looks like.
