Default Rocker swingarm on a Deuce?

I dont ride with anyone that has a rocker so I cant measure it myself but does anyone know if a rocker swingarm is the same width at the frame mount as a stock deuce swingarm.

basically, will a rocker swingarm bolt on a deuce?

Sorry, but nope. The rocker frame is wider at the mounts by a good bit. look at the oil tanks for a comparision. I have looked for a way for a while now!

thanks CC but that wont help me hang a 240 on the back of my Deuce.

I'm trying to figure out a way to do it without it costing an arm & a leg.

I always assumed that if it was a Harley, it's gonna cost an arm and a leg no matter what!

any good fab shop can do what your asking I believe. All you have to do is tell them what you want to do and give them some dimensions.I've been looking at that and with some good measurement it's not a big job.Buy a used swing arm if you can to keep the cost down.Off set might mean a chain convertion also, but I think it can be done way cheaper than the kits you buy and be able to say you did it yourself.G.

without knowing for 100% thats more what I'm thinkin too.

I'm going to make a pit stop at the dealer and measure for myself.
there was recently a rocker rear end (swingarm/rim & fender) for under a grand on ebay.
well naturally it got me to thinking...
