Hey guys,
I'm looking at a strutless rear fender for my 2006 NT and need to know if it will fit. Its 9" wide and fits frames 11" wide where the struts mount. This is the link: http://www.debrix.com/Wide-***-9-Str...p/11225-k1.htm Does anyone know if it will fit or how much work it will take to make it fit? Thanks in advance.
I actually just mounted mine in front of the rear splash guard. Behind the splash quard is a plastic panel, you can cut some of the plastic tabs off that panel, drill 2 holes in it and mount it there. The wiring should be long enough to just re-route it atleast mine was. When im done mounting my coil down there I will post some pics for you to see. If you do this just make sure you use stainless hardware because of water etc. Im also going to put my module and coil in a balloon for water purpose's. If you wanted to make a box you could do that, or buy a fender with the box already there. I have one and got it from J&P cycles, I think its a milwaukee fender.
Thanks guys. I think WillyP has a kustomwerks fender and I actually found the fender I'm looking at in their catalog. I'll check out J&P and see if they have a box for the ignition mod. Or I may just fab. one myself and weld it in. If anyone else has any other suggestions I'm all ears still.
