They make Windex all purpose or something like that. It has no ammonia or any of the stuff that would harm paint or chrome. I it to clean my chrome, works great.
I haven't had mine dirty enought to wash it yet, but I have using a Torco cleaner/polish and so far it has worked Great. I have tried the All purpose glass cleaner and it works well also. It dries fast and leaves NO streaks. I have used it on the Nightster for 2 years and it looks as good as when it was new.
JMHO
Btw- we have about 10" of snow on the ground too....... can't wait till February.
i see you have the dark custom logo on your nighster it looks good. you should get them for the fatboy lo.............
I had the set home and decided to leave it plain for now. I may get a POW/MIA derby cover in 2010. I thought it looked good on my Nightster, but wasn't the look I wanted for the Lo-Boy.
i had mix motion about the covers to.....the fatboy lo does not look bad with the covers blends in well with the bike.....i can always take them off lol.....
