OK--the big snow storm this last week reminded me it is winter and it is time to do some mods on the FLSTCI. I need to get the following items to start finishing it off. Mirrors, shift linkage, chrome the rear caliper, braided rear line and a looking at in the garage I realized I need a lower profile dashboard to go with it.
Any suggestion on the shift linkage and dashboard? I like the Milwaukee iron dashes but they are expensive unfinished Most folks get chrome linkage from Harley or are their other good makers?
Here is a recent picture to show what I am starting from.
I got my slotted shifter levers and linkage from HD. How about a chromed matching pulley for those fat spokes. There are die-cast chromed like mine and also real fat spoked pulleys.
Thanks--I like the MI dashes better than the items from Harley. It's a matter of getting the coin to get one and have it chromed or powder coated. I think the Lo dashboards from MI look great.
