I've heard the dealer does this when they get the bikes in from the factory.

If I decided to hook up using the SAE connectors direct to the Positive and Negative terminals, i'm guessing that would be satisfactory for my battery tender and would then double as my quick connect for my Heated Dual source Jacket?? Maybe two birds with one stone kind of situation??

i have one on my bike and my jeep and there both connected directly to the battery post. they say connect it to the frame but should say you can connect it to the frame or battery.
