Default Not impressed with S100

Today I drug my kids with me to the stealer to fish out some cleaning stuff for my night train, so I tried out that S100 spray on foam tonight, did just like it said. Sprayed it on, and hosed it right off without sitting. It didn't seem to do much. I mean my bike was cleaner, but not much. Anybody have better luck?

I just use the regular S 100 and cut it 4 to 1 in a spray bottle. Works great for me.

I use it and it has worked well. Make sure bike is cool and hose it off completely.

I agree, my favorite cleaner is Simple Green diluted per the manufacturer's recommendations posted at -- http://www.simplegreen.com/pdfs/05_d...s_consumer.pdf I also make sue and rinse, rinse, rinse after use. Just my 2 cents worth....

I don't use any cleaners or degreasers in spray cans. It's a code I have. I like S100 in the trigger bootle. Most other degreasers either straight or diluted 1:1 work on cleaning the engine, underneath and up under the fenders. My other care products are McGuires and Mothers, detailers, spray wax and liquid wax.

I'll do a pre-spray on of S100 just to cut through the hard grime and bugs, but then it gets good warm soapy water with a wash mit, and elbow grease.

I like S100, the regular stuff.
Used it for 20 years.
Great on wheels and engine, or a quick bath before bed (wet bike down first if it's hot).
Give it another try.

I use S100 cycle cleaner and like it very much. Howeve after the bike has been exposed to a lot of water and grime like riding on the highway in the rain, I find that I need to wash the bike the traditional way, soap, water, and mit. The S100 is great for washing under normal conditions, especially in the areas of the engine and under the bike where I can't get my hands.
