Default quick fxst triple tree question

hey all,
im sneakin over here from the dyna forums to ask a question. i bought a complete 2003 fxst front end a couple weeks ago on a whim because it was too good of a deal to pass up. but now i have a couple of questions.
1.) is this the same trees they use on a dyna wide glide?
2.) is it compatable with my lowrider frame? (fork stops and stem length etc...)
3.) is there any rake already in the trees? i know the wide glide has 3* in the trees and im wandering what the rake was on these trees, if any?

any other information would be greatly appreciated and i hope i dont have to re sell this front end

thanks for the help!!

Yup. I dunno about the bearing cages etc in the headset but the tree itself is in fact the same.

I wish I had an answer for you there Mang....The stops could be an issue. So it may need some tinkering to make work like the factory would have done it?

FX series sloptails have rake both in the tree and the frame. The way I read it the FX series has 32 degrees of total rake Vs' say the new Dyna wideglide with 34 degrees. Its in the frame as the bikes share trees. You should be all good. I think your only real issue will be the steering stops and bearings.

Post this on the Dyna forum....Those Dyna dudes are a crafty bunch!! They would have an absolute for ya.

2 in the trees for the fxst. the fork stops will have to be machined down on the FXST trees to work on the dyna frame.
